I took an online science course and discussed the development trends of rsity. I'm really confused by some of these questions. Even after reading this chapter, I still do not fully understand it.
In general, globalization is increasing during evolution. However, there are events and effects that kill large numbers of species and reverse the process. If a giant meteorite falls to the ground, huge damage to biodiversity can be expected. In a less extreme / sudden instance, if we destroy a hat, most of the species in the cap will soon become extinct. However, without these external influences, globalization increases.
The second question ... The obvious trend of isms becoming more complex is adding to the complexity. The first creatures were simple single-celled prokaryotes. So they develop. He proposed (and widely accepted) that mitochondria and chloroplasts were small unicellular isomers that merged into larger unicellular isomers and formed a symbolic relationship. Then we get simple colonies which are mostly clusters of cells that are very similar, but in the colony some cells do specific work. Functions were mastered, colonies grew, and real multicellular IMs developed. Simple worms evolved into increasingly complex forms, and eventually vertebrates emerged, first as very simple means and then in complexity over millions of years. In fact, the complexity of isms increases with time.
