Gagootz

What does Gagoot mean? 3

Tony mentions AJ Gagoots several times in SW. Does anyone know what that means? I've heard a lot about it.

Isn't that cucumber? My Cecilian grandmother called him Zos, and he pronounced C very, very gently, like a goggle.

The Cecilian word is cocoa and it means pumpkin (could it also mean zucchini?) So you might name your baby pumpkin head or something.

The meaning of gagaotz

Cucoza is a Sicilian word for pumpkin or Italian pumpkin. Gagoots is the Americanized Association of Cucuzz. It is used by many of us Italians as a nickname for our programs. Call your baby cucumber instead of pumpkin. My son has always had this nickname and is now 26 years old. The Urban Dictionary says it means crazy or not. Maybe it's a suprano ... but I don't think so.

I don't think the word has any meaning. Apparently, this is the American version of the Italian side with braised zucchini, onion and pepper. Probably just a nickname.
